STAINLESS: Enduro Bearings produceert bepaalde reeksen van lagers vervaardigd met roestvrije 440C stalen kogels. Dit materiaal biedt maximale weerstand tegen corrosie en dit in alle omstandigheden. Afhankelijk van de toepassing, maakt men gebruik van de Abec 3 of Abec 5 kwaliteit. Roestvrije stalen kogels hebben 20% minder capaciteit dan de 52100 stalen kogels dewelke gebruikt worden in de meeste van onze lagers, maar deze hebben wel een betere bescherming tegen corrosie. Enduro Bearings gebruikt een CRC marine vet in deze lagers als extra bescherming tegen vervuiling. LLB : Onze meest populaire afdichting, bestaande uit een rubberen afwerking met een metale kern. In tegenstelling tot de standaard 2RS, gaan wij een beetje verder door het machinaal plaatsen van een inkeping in de binnenste ring, daar waar de dichting kan draaien met een prima efficiëntie en een weerstand tov een mindere lager. Eerder dan een enkele «lip» van een dikke afdichting die schuurt tegen een oneffen oppervlak, maakt het type LLB gebruikt 2 lippen van afdichtingen, fijn zoals een scheermesje dat glijdt in een inkeping met een licht contact. De buitenste «lip» houdt water en onzuiverheden buiten, terwijl de binnenste dichting het vet behoudt voor een soepele rotatie en lange intervallen tussen de onderhoudsbeurten.

Enduro stainless bearings all carry a full two year anti-corrosion warranty. The most common use for this bearing is as a direct replacement bearing for Shimano external cup BBs when using the plastic Shimano bearing insert. If you wish to avoidsing the plastic insert MR 2437 is the correct bearing for the job The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
