De Maxxis Dissector band is samen met de Australische downhillprof Troy Brosnan ontwikkeld. Troy wilde een unieke band maken die zeer snel rolt, nauwkeurig door bochten raast en indien gewenst ook goed vertraagt. Als uitgangspunt nam hij het profiel van Rekon, Minion DHF en HighRoller II wat hij tijdens het world cup seizoen 2018 in samenwerking met MAXXIS verder ontwikkelde.
